SuperEVerified✓I do a lot of winter hiking, which often involves semi-frozen mud, slush, and snow. These boots are surprisingly well made, although they don't feel as premium as high-end boots. The neoprene is comfortable and the soles offer a lot of traction. I generally wear a 9.5 boot and went with a 9, which was probably a mistake as they are a little snug, but still quite comfortable. For actual hiking, they feel more comfortable than a pair of similar boots worth about 30% more.Included in the box was a waterproof cellphone holder, which to be honest, cheapens the boots - it should have been excluded in my opinio n.The boots also come with a lifetime warranty, but you have to register for that through Facebook or Microsoft Messenger according to the included card, which is a terrible way to register for a product warranty. But I suggest going to the Hisea website and registering directly there.Overall, this is a great value for such a nice pair of boots. I'm looking forward to using these all year round! ...[See More]
The Tech GuyVerified✓There are very similar to Muck Boots and Bogs but less than half the price. They are insulated but not really warm enough for winter past -5ºC. I would consider these boots good for three seasons. (Spring, Summer & Winter). As far as fit is goes, they are comfortable to wear and cover your full calf resting just below your knee.I wear a size 8 shoe/boot and found these to be very true to fit. They are standard width or perhaps slightly narrow but definitely Not Wide. If you need a wide fitting boot these probably would be too narrow for you.The boot is snug fitting which is good, however they don't have a lot of room if you want to add a second insole or perhaps thicker insole. If you want to add an extra insole or wear double socks you may wish to order a size larger to have more room.Bonus: I wasn't expecting this but as a bonus there was a waterproof cellphone holder in the box with the boots.Overall for the price of these boots I'm very impressed. I have two pairs of Mid Calf Mucks and one pair of Bogs and these HISEA boots are every bit as comfortable and well made as my Mucks or Bogs. ...[See More]
AdventuresofDougy-YTVerified✓Purchased months ago for hunting season, an there's a week of early doe, so here we are on day 2 of that,I can't say a hole lot, as it's only my second day wearing. But they are handling the terrain, greatWater proof++++Fit ++++Comfort ++++So these are indeed water proof. Which are nice, tested this a bit ago. They fit great, I normally wear a boot, and shoe size 11.So I ordered in size 11.From the heel of boot to the "big toe" of boot, there is about a finger of space(not the length of finger, but fatness..? Of finger- I also don't have fat fingers)All in all the fitment is great- I feel as if- if I or dered a 10 1/2 they would be too small, and plus when winter comes I'll have just enough to have my wool socks (maybe even doubled upped)Perfect fitment. And as comfort goes, I only walk about a mile(depending what tree stand I go to) but so far, they are pretty comfortable. All in all,5 stars from me.I'll update down the road on how they hold up,5/5 ...[See More]
DorrieVerified✓I had written a horrible review as the boots were so bad, but I had also contacted the firm directly by email. They refunded me and you cannot ask better than that. There was a problem and they sorted it!I hope that they manage to sort out their problems with the boots as they were comfortable and really warm.I was well impressed with their quick response the refund.
Sports, Tools & TechVerified✓I liked these boots - they're well constructed, have pulls for easy-on, and a rubberized base for both durability and waterproofing. My ONLY gripe is they run quite large. I wear a size 10.5 in Nike running shoes and ordered a 10 since these don't come in half sizes. 10 is noticeably large. I'd need a thick pair of socks for a perfect fit.A mitigating factor for this would be to tuck your pants inside the boots, though at that point you risk water getting over the top.My recommendation would be ordering one size down from your regular size.
LJVerified✓Well-made, light, look good but fit a little too snug for my foot.Pulling them out of the box I was impressed. Good quality and looked great. However, when I slipped them on, and immediately noticed an issue. The fit is tight throughout the foot (I’m a 42 wide -US 8.5 wide) It was snug and i was wearing a dress sock. They're also slim through the calves. This allows me to put my pants over top of them, or can neatly fold them against my calves and slide it inside the boot. All in all, i like them, but would recommend up-sizing if you have wider feet.
